My Story

“Most of the merchandise is handmade by me, Janet Ferry. I also carry a unique collection of high quality cotton fabrics.

You can find a variety of gifts to fill your needs. These items include Maine decor, fabrics, baby gifts, stenciled wood signs, balsam products, catnip toys for kitty, runners, potholders, collectibles and more!

I am grateful to be able to make many of the items myself. I began my love of sewing at a very young age. Forty-five years plus later I still love to create my own products for customers to enjoy. I also work with wood and love the variations of other mediums used to create my products. I create original stenciled signs and primitive decor using Maine pine. My stenciling overflows onto fabrics and clothing

I can not ask for anything more rewarding as a job. I owe that to my family and customers who have supported me and continue to support me over these many years. My husband and family have been very understanding to allow me to use the space in our home to do creative work.

My work is my play. My ‘real play’ is my grandchildren.
